In his expanded role, Evans will oversee the company's day-to-day commercial and marketing strategies across all business units. His responsibilities will encompass sales, operations and the commercial growth of VMS, Vaculug's proprietary fleet management system.

Evans will also lead key relationships with service providers, fleets and end users to ensure the company continues delivering excellent service to its customers. According to Vaculug, Evans's deep industry knowledge and proven expertise make him ideally suited for the role.

Mark Holloway Promoted to Head of VMS

Mark Holloway's promotion to Head of VMS represents an expansion of his existing remit within the organisation. Whilst continuing to lead Vaculug's marketing, communications and public affairs departments, Holloway will now drive the commercial development of the Vaculug Management System.

The VMS was pioneered by Vaculug in the 1990s, making the company the first independent retreader in the world to build a proprietary comprehensive fleet management solution. Holloway's expertise is expected to be instrumental in evolving these systems and elevating customer satisfaction.

Company Background

Vaculug operates from a 12-acre site in Lincolnshire, with additional offices in London and Leicester. The company produces high-quality retread tyres for fleets across the United Kingdom and Europe, whilst offering effective fleet management solutions.

The company was notably the first tyre company in Europe to achieve B Corp certification, underscoring its commitment to sustainable business practices. The retreading process uses significantly less raw material and energy than manufacturing new tyres, positioning Vaculug at the forefront of sustainable innovation within the tyre industry.

These appointments come as Vaculug continues to strengthen its position in the commercial tyre sector, building on more than 75 years of industry experience.
