Interfit, the Yokohama-TWS-owned specialist tyre service business for material handling, agriculture and construction machinery, has bolstered its European operations by acquiring two Spanish materials handling tyre service companies.
The company has purchased Barcelona-based Delgado e Hijos S.A. and Castellón-based Rodelma S.L., marking a significant expansion of its service network in the Iberian market.
Delgado e Hijos S.A. brings more than six decades of industry experience to the Interfit portfolio. Founded in 1962, the Barcelona-based firm has established itself as a trusted provider of industrial and materials handling tyre and wheel solutions, serving both dealers and industrial fleets across the region.
Rodelma S.L., the younger of the two businesses, was founded in 2008 in Castellón, within Spain's Valencia region. The company specialises in materials handling tyre fitting and related services, catering to local and regional customers.
The dual acquisition strengthens Interfit's on-the-ground service network in Spain, reinforcing its wider European presence whilst improving local-level coverage for materials handling fleets and OEM dealer partners.
According to Interfit, the deals enhance its capability to deliver fast, mobile and exchange-wheel tyre services across the continent. The acquisitions align with the company's broader strategy of building a service-led global platform centred on Yokohama-TWS's speciality tyre portfolio.
The move underscores Interfit's commitment to expanding its geographical footprint in key European markets, where demand for specialist materials handling tyre services continues to grow.
