ZAFCO Appoints Tyre Industry Veteran Hee Se Ahn as Independent Director

ZAFCO Names Hee Se Ahn Independent Director.

ZAFCO, a global manufacturer and distributor of automotive tyres, batteries, and lubricants, has appointed Mr Hee Se Ahn as an Independent Director to its Board, effective 1 January 2026.

Mr Ahn brings more than 35 years of leadership experience in the international tyre industry, with particular expertise in overseas sales, strategic marketing, and regional management across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President at Nexen Tire, having previously held the position of Managing Director at Hankook Tire, based in Seoul, South Korea. Throughout his career, Mr Ahn has been instrumental in driving international growth, strengthening global market presence, and leading cross-regional teams. He is widely regarded as a respected authority within the global tyre sector.

Commenting on the appointment, Zafar Hussain, Executive Director of ZAFCO Group, said: "We are pleased to welcome Mr Hee Se Ahn to the Board of ZAFCO.
