Linglong Tire has started European availability of its Dura Master Van light commercial vehicle tyre, adding a 29-size range for vans, light trucks and motorhomes. The tyre, developed in Hanover and produced in Serbia, gives the manufacturer a broader LCV offer as fleet operators continue to prioritise mileage, load capacity and rolling resistance.
The Dura Master Van forms part of Linglong’s Master product family and replaces earlier Green-Max Van patterns in the company’s European line-up. According to the manufacturer, the new tyre uses a wider tread, revised construction and updated compound to reduce wear and improve mileage.
Linglong says rolling resistance was a central part of the development work. That matters for van fleets because fuel and energy use remain key cost factors, particularly for delivery operators, trades and motorhome users covering high annual mileage.
Wencheng Liu, Head of Product Management at Linglong Tire, said the tyre combines “high mileage with safety and efficiency”. He described those areas as important for businesses and households using vans every day.
The tyre was developed by Linglong’s European Development Centre in Hanover, with testing carried out at Idiada in Spain and at the group’s Sino Asia test site in China. Production will take place exclusively at Linglong’s Zrenjanin factory in Serbia.
That European manufacturing base gives the launch wider relevance for wholesalers and OE buyers. Tyre News has previously reported on Linglong’s Serbian factory achieving RSCI certification, a supply-chain milestone for customers assessing responsible sourcing and automotive procurement standards.
The new retail range covers 29 sizes from 12 to 17 inches, with deliveries scheduled from spring 2026. Linglong is also offering a Dura Master Van e version for original equipment customers in two 16-inch sizes, supplied directly to vehicle manufacturers after approval.
For tyre retailers and distributors, the main story is not simply another product launch. It is Linglong’s continued attempt to build credibility in Europe through local development, European production and targeted OE supply.
Tyre News previously covered Linglong’s original-equipment fitment on the Volkswagen Tiguan, which showed the brand moving further into European OE channels. The Dura Master Van e applies that direction to the light commercial sector, where approval cycles and fleet expectations can be demanding.
The launch also lands in a competitive market. Van tyre buyers are focused on durability, wet braking, rolling resistance and availability. Recent Tyre News coverage of British Gas extending its Michelin van tyre partnership showed how large fleets continue to base tyre decisions on uptime, safety and long-term operating performance.
Linglong says an all-season version, the Dura Master Van 4S, will be added in autumn 2026. That will broaden the range into a part of the LCV market where fleets often seek one tyre to manage mixed weather conditions, regional operations and reduced changeover complexity.
