Apollo Tyres Ltd has been awarded a Gold Rating by EcoVadis, the globally recognised sustainability rating provider. This achievement places the company in the top 5% of all assessed businesses worldwide and highlights continued progress in its environmental, social, and ethical performance.
EcoVadis evaluates companies across four key pillars: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Apollo Tyres recorded strong gains across all categories in the FY25 assessment. The company’s overall performance score rose to the 95th percentile — up from the 92nd the previous year — with a five-year improvement from 41 to 76 out of 100.

According to the company, the improvement was driven by several focused efforts, including the implementation of environmental management systems, stricter ethics and compliance programmes, and inclusive workplace policies. These contributed to enhanced scores, particularly in the Ethics and Labour categories.
Apollo Tyres President and Chief Business Officer Sunam Sarkar credited the progress to “dedicated teams who have worked to integrate sustainable practices throughout our operations.”
