Ascenso Tyres and UK distributor BA Bush have launched the Ascenso Tyres UK app for OTR and other off-road tyre users. The mobile tool gives operators access to tyre sizes, patterns, load ratings and recommended pressures, aiming to reduce reliance on technical sheets and support better tyre decisions in the field.
The app allows users to search by tyre pattern and view the sizes available for that product. It also provides recommended operating pressures based on the load being carried, giving operators a quicker way to check core application data from a phone.
The companies say the app’s content has been shaped by customer feedback, with users asking for simpler access to technical knowledge and support information. In practice, the launch gives farmers, contractors, fleet operators and site managers another route to check tyre set-up before machinery goes to work.
The app is available through both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Correct tyre pressure remains central to safety, tyre life and operating performance across agriculture, construction, earthmoving, forestry and material handling. Under-inflation or over-inflation can affect traction, stability, fuel use and wear rates, particularly when machinery moves between road and off-road work.
Tyre News has recently covered the same pressure-management theme in other parts of the off-highway market, including Alliance’s UK agricultural tyre pressure demonstrations, where live tractor tests focused on fuel use and traction at different settings. Recent coverage of Trelleborg’s VF tyre pressure work at BASF’s Hurcott Farm demo also showed how pressure optimisation links to soil protection and running costs.
For UK buyers, the app reinforces Ascenso’s service model through BA Bush and the wider distributor network. The move follows wider trade interest in Ascenso’s growth in agricultural tyres, with Tyre News previously reporting that Bush Tyres had seen increased demand for the Ascenso brand through BAB Distribution.
The launch fits Ascenso’s focus on agriculture, industrial and construction, earthmover, material handling and forestry applications. For dealers and end users, the value will depend on how easily the app turns technical data into faster and more accurate tyre choices.
