TIA Agri has formed a strategic partnership with Goodyear Farm Tires to become the brand’s principal stockist for the UK and Irish agricultural market. The Telford-based wholesaler will supply the full Goodyear Farm Tires range to dealers, giving farmers wider access to vintage, standard and Low Sidewall (LSW) agricultural tyre products.
The agreement gives TIA Agri responsibility for stocking and distributing Goodyear Farm Tires across its UK and Ireland dealer network. The company says products will be available on a next-day delivery basis, supporting dealers that need faster access to agricultural tyres during busy seasonal periods.
The move also broadens TIA Agri’s position in specialist agricultural supply. The business was formed in 2023 and has since expanded its offer with a service-led model covering product supply, pressure advice, weight distribution analysis and on-farm support.
Gordon Hamilton, Sales Manager for TIA Agri, said the partnership was “another crucial part of the jigsaw” as the company develops its agricultural tyre business. He said Goodyear Farm Tires brings “fantastic heritage and product range” to dealers and farmers across the UK and Ireland.
Goodyear Farm Tires re-entered the UK and European market in 2019 under Titan International. The brand retains a strong position in vintage tractor tyres, supporting restorers, collectors and farmers maintaining older machinery.
TIA Agri will also expand availability of Goodyear’s modern ranges, including Optitrac tyres and Low Sidewall (LSW) Technology products. LSW tyres use a larger rim and shorter sidewall to improve machine stability in field and road use.
The agreement follows a wider push by Goodyear Farm Tires to improve European availability and its focus on LSW technology. The brand also expanded its Normandy warehouse to improve European delivery efficiency and support local assembly of LSW wheel and tyre assemblies.
For agricultural tyre dealers, stock depth and delivery speed remain critical. Seasonal demand can rise sharply around cultivation, drilling and harvest periods, while specialist sizes may be harder to source at short notice.
The TIA Agri agreement is therefore most relevant as a supply chain story. It gives Goodyear Farm Tires a stronger UK and Ireland route to market, while giving TIA Agri another recognised agricultural brand in its wholesale portfolio.
Lindsay Hart, European Sales Director for Goodyear Farm Tires, said having products available in the UK on a next-day delivery basis had been a key objective since the brand’s return. She said TIA Agri’s team and reputation made the partnership an opportunity to strengthen the UK offer.
TIA Agri is part of TIA (GB) Limited, a family-owned tyre trade business with a wider wholesale operation across tyres and commercial wheels. Tyre News recently reported that TIA Tyres had also been named official UK wholesale partner for Yokohama’s truck and bus radial range, reflecting broader growth across the group’s distribution activity.
For Goodyear Farm Tires, the partnership supports its aim to increase UK market coverage while maintaining access to both modern and heritage agricultural products. For dealers, the practical test will be whether the new arrangement improves availability, technical backup and delivery consistency.
