Magna Tyres has introduced the MA801 TR, a new solid tyre developed for compact wheel loaders and telescopic handlers working in recycling and heavy industrial environments. The tyre will make its first public appearance at IFAT Munich 2026, which takes place from 4–7 May in Germany.
The MA801 TR is aimed at sites where puncture risk, sharp debris and heavy loads can disrupt vehicle availability. Magna says the solid, flat-free construction is designed to reduce downtime and maintenance needs, while supporting high load capacity in demanding operating cycles.
The tyre uses an extra-deep, non-directional tread pattern and a reinforced triangular construction. It will initially be offered in 13.00-24 and 14.00-24 sizes, targeting compact wheel loaders and telehandlers used in waste, recycling and industrial handling applications.

Recycling sites place unusual demands on tyres because equipment often works on abrasive surfaces and around loose metal, broken material and uneven ground. For operators, tyre failure can quickly become a productivity issue rather than a simple replacement cost.
The launch also comes as tyre recycling and circular economy themes remain prominent across the wider tyre sector. Tyre News recently reported on Pyrum’s ISCC EU certification and renamed recycled materials, highlighting how traceability and industrial recycling outputs are becoming more important in supply chains.
IFAT Munich describes its 2026 event as focused on water, recycling and circularity, with more than 3,000 exhibitors expected from over 60 countries. Magna’s decision to present the MA801 TR there places the tyre in front of waste management, recycling and environmental technology buyers rather than a general tyre audience.
The company has also been expanding its product coverage in other commercial segments. Tyre News recently covered Magna’s M-TRUCK RG22 regional drive axle tyre, showing continued activity across truck and specialist applications.
Magna says the MA801 TR has been engineered to deliver “maximum uptime” and puncture resistance in applications where conventional pneumatic tyres face higher exposure to damage. In practice, that positions the product for operators prioritising availability, load stability and predictable service life.
