Point S Tyre & Autocare has appointed Andrew Brooks as Logistics Manager and three Business Development Managers, Luke Ashford, David Flood, and Scott Jones, to boost coverage across the UK. The moves follow the arrival of Managing Director Ali Yilmaz in January 2025 and align with plans to build the largest independent service network by 2035.

Four hires cover logistics and regional growth

Brooks will lead logistics operations, while Ashford, Flood, and Jones take BDM roles focused on the southwest, south, and north respectively. The company says the additions ensure stronger representation across all UK regions as member recruitment and service expansion continue.

Strategy: scale by 2035

Since Yilmaz became UK Managing Director in January 2025, Point S has prioritised member growth and network capability. The company has publicly stated its ambition to be the UK’s largest independent automotive service network by 2035, positioning for market share as rivals consolidate or exit.

For dealers and fleets, more regional BDM support and a dedicated logistics lead should translate into faster onboarding, improved programme delivery, and steadier product flow. It also signals continued investment in independent channels as EV adoption changes workshop revenue mixes.

“The key to a high performing business is an engaged, empowered, and highperforming team. With these recent appointments, together with our current team of experts, we’ve laid the infrastructure we need to achieve our growth goals. Independents are currently thriving in a very challenging marketplace, and this is largely due to the exceptional levels of service, professionalism, and honesty they have become known for over decades in industry. We are committed to supporting these unsung heroes of the UK aftermarket through the strength, breadth, and contacts of a national network, backed by international credentials.” — Ali Yilmaz, Managing Director, Point S Tyre & Autocare.

Point S says the new managers are in post and focused on member growth, operational efficiency, and national coverage. Expect further site additions and programme updates as the network pursues its 2035 goal.
