Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) will be Cricket Australia’s naming-rights partner for this season’s men’s ODI and T20I series against India, with matches staged across Australia from 19 October. The collaboration deepens BKT’s cricket footprint and gives the off-highway tyre maker prime visibility in two of its most important markets as fans anticipate one of the year’s biggest white-ball contests.
Cricket Australia will style the events as the BKT Tyres Men’s ODI Series and the BKT Tyres Men’s T20 International Series. The ODI opener is scheduled for Perth on 19 October, with the five-match T20I leg due to begin in Canberra on 29 October, delivering eight high-demand fixtures across major cities. Schedules published by Cricket Australia and leading cricket outlets confirm dates and venues.
Elite cricket provides BKT with broadcast reach and on-ground branding in Australia and India, two countries with large off-highway and agricultural tyre demand. The deal also follows sustained investment by BKT in sport, from European football to UK cricket properties, signalling a long-term brand-building play that aligns with replacement and OEM sales ambitions in export markets.
“We’re delighted to welcome BKT Tyres as the Naming Rights Partner for these marquee series,” said Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg. “Their passion for cricket and dedication to creating immersive fan experiences align perfectly with our vision for the sport.”
“This partnership with Cricket Australia marks a strategic milestone in strengthening BKT’s global footprint,” added Rajiv Poddar, Joint Managing Director, citing the company’s ‘Growing Together’ philosophy and the importance of both India and Australia to the brand.
BKT has a long record of cricket sponsorships, from India’s T20 league teams to UK competitions, and has maintained headline partnerships in other sports that prioritise broad audience reach. That background helps explain the move into naming rights for bilateral series featuring India, where audience numbers are consistently among the world’s highest for white-ball cricket.
