Nexen Tire has announced three new regional hubs (a branch office in Bucharest and subsidiaries in Mexico and Saudi Arabia) effective 1 September 2025. The move aims to localise distribution and customer support in high-growth markets across Southeastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, underpinned by added capacity at Žatec, Czech Republic, and recent sales momentum. The company says the hubs will manage nearby countries to raise service levels and speed to market.
The Bucharest office will strengthen Nexen Tire’s position in Southeastern Europe, overseeing distribution in nine countries including Serbia, Bulgaria and Kosovo. Romania’s economy continued to expand in 2024, supporting regional tyre demand; the European Commission projects gradual fiscal stabilisation through 2026.
“A key focus of our global strategy is to build localized operating systems that respond precisely to the distribution structures and customer needs of each region,” said John Bosco (Hyeon Suk) Kim, CEO of Nexen Tire.
A new subsidiary in Mexico will run an independent Latin America unit, moving oversight from the United States. From Mexico, Nexen Tire plans to expand sales and marketing in Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica and El Salvador, aligning operations with local distributors and customer requirements.
Building on a Dubai branch (2009) and an Egypt subsidiary (2023), Nexen Tire will establish a Saudi entity to cover neighbouring markets including Qatar, Bahrain and Yemen. Brand activity will include sports marketing in the UAE via Al Nasr SC - https://www.tyrenews.co.uk/news/nexen-tire-renews-al-nasr-sc-partnership-for-the-2025-26-season
Added capacity at Nexen Tire’s second plant in Žatec is intended to support stable supply to core markets while enabling new growth initiatives. Beyond the three hubs, Nexen Tire has opened new branches in Spain and Poland, and reports that expanded distribution along Australia’s Eastern Seaboard more than tripled sales in 2024 versus 2023.
