International Tyres and Trading Limited has appointed Joanna James and Paula Latcham as Area Sales Managers, adding further sales resource to its customer-facing team. The appointments will support trade relationships as the UK distributor continues to work with customers and suppliers across the tyre wholesale market.
The company said James and Latcham will help support customers, develop relationships and contribute to business growth. Their roles will place them in direct contact with customers and prospects, where area sales coverage remains important for availability, account support and supplier communication.
James joins with sales experience gained mainly in senior positions within the steel industry. That background brings business-to-business sales experience from another industrial supply sector.
Latcham brings tyre industry experience to the role, which the company said will help guide her conversations with customers and prospects.
The appointments follow Tyre News’ recent coverage of International Tyres appointing Daniel Koumi as business development manager and International Tyres Names William Farrow as-bdm, moves aimed at strengthening its UK sales function.
They also come after Tyre News reported on International Tyres’ visit to ZC Rubber’s Hangzhou facilities, where the UK distributor for WESTLAKE tyres reviewed manufacturing and product capabilities with its supplier partner.
International Tyres said it was “delighted” to welcome James and Latcham and looked forward to introducing them to customers and suppliers in the coming weeks and months.
