Logistics UK has expanded its Vision compliance platform with Check, a customisable digital checklist module, and a redeveloped Vision App for drivers. The update went live on 17 September 2025 at the Transport Manager conference at Haynes Motor Museum in Yeovil.
The aim is to replace paper-based checks, centralise defect data, and put hours, rest and working time information in one place for drivers and managers.
Vision Check introduces customisable checklists for assets, vehicles and incidents. Drivers complete walkaround inspections in the app. Submissions sync to Vision so managers can view live defects, spot trends and act quickly. Logistics UK says the module is designed to replace insecure paper trails and accelerate defect resolution.
The Vision App has been overhauled with a cleaner workflow. It shows remaining driving hours, weekly rest status and working time in one place, and links directly to Vision Check for daily checks. In-app micro-training videos can be pushed to drivers to reinforce best practice and support a stronger compliance culture.
Vision Check was enabled alongside the new app release in September, with supporting help pages confirming walkaround functionality and registration steps for iOS and Android.
Replacing manual check sheets with live, auditable records gives clearer visibility of open defects and time-critical issues. Centralising inspections, defect reporting and training records in Vision creates a single source of truth for faster decisions and simpler audits across fleets.
“Compliance is no longer a tick-box exercise, and forward-thinking companies are now leveraging the data they collect to drive efficiencies and deliver operational gains,” said Jemma James, Digital Development Director at Logistics UK. “The latest development of the Vision compliance platform, including the launch of our new driver app, makes collecting and processing data straightforward, bringing clarity to an operator’s business.”
