Apollo Tyres Ltd has introduced the Apollo Aspire 5, a new-generation summer tyre designed specifically for high-performance and executive-class vehicles. Succeeding the well-regarded Aspire 4G+, the latest addition to Apollo's portfolio delivers notable advancements in ride comfort, noise suppression and efficiency whilst maintaining competitive pricing.
The Aspire 5 launches with 24 sizes covering 17 to 21-inch rim diameters, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of saloons and SUVs, including vehicles equipped with electrified powertrains.
This programme follows Apollo’s broader push in the high-performance space, which has included recent launches such as the Vredestein Ultrac Pro UUHP range expansion earlier in 2025.
At the heart of the Aspire 5's performance lies Apollo Tyres' new Dynamic Contour Technology, which combines advanced tread design with compound innovations to deliver what the manufacturer describes as a refined driving experience. The technology incorporates diamond ridges within the tread structure that absorb shocks from road surface imperfections, reducing stress on the ribs and enhancing both smoothness and control.
Building on the foundation established by its predecessor, the tyre features 'Synchronised Tread Pitch' technology – an evolution of the system used in the Aspire 4G+. This development minimises vibration and noise levels, with selected sizes achieving an 'A' noise rating of just 69 dB under EU tyre labelling regulations.
The structural design of the Aspire 5 enables uniform pressure distribution across the contact patch, even under more severe cornering forces. This promotes stable handling characteristics and consistent wear rates throughout the tyre's service life.
Apollo has employed a new-generation carbon black compound featuring low hysteresis properties that minimise heat build-up during operation. This translates into improved rolling resistance and extended tyre longevity, with selected sizes achieving a 'B' rolling resistance rating for enhanced fuel efficiency.
Wet weather capability remains a priority, with the Aspire 5 delivering an 'A' wet grip rating on certain sizes, providing confident control and braking performance in challenging conditions.
The development of the Aspire 5 involved extensive testing across multiple international locations, including facilities in Europe, India, Japan and Korea. This comprehensive programme confirmed the tyre's high levels of refinement and comfort, with Apollo claiming performance that matches or exceeds leading European premium-brand competitors.
Daniele Lorenzetti, Chief Technology Officer at Apollo Tyres Ltd, commented: "With the Aspire 5, our R&D teams focused on enhancing refinement and comfort without compromising dynamic performance. Every element of the tyre has been developed to meet the expectations of premium and executive car owners seeking both comfort and control, resulting in a tyre that combines quietness and composure with responsive handling and efficiency."
The Apollo Aspire 5 is now available through the company's distribution network across Europe.
