German recycling technology specialist Pyrum Innovations AG has confirmed its participation at the Recovered Carbon Black Europe 2025 conference, taking place in Barcelona from 4-6 November.
The event will bring together more than 350 global recovered carbon black (rCB) experts to discuss the latest developments in sustainable materials and circular economy solutions for the tyre and rubber industries.
Pyrum's CEO Pascal Klein will participate in a high-profile CEO panel alongside leaders from Tire Industry Research, Bolder Industries, Circtec, and Contec. The panel will provide strategic updates on the rCB sector's development and future direction.
Additionally, Frank Cremer from Pyrum will contribute his expertise as a member of the conference's Advisory Board, helping to shape the event's technical programme.
The three-day conference will feature an extensive programme including:
Recovered carbon black is produced through the pyrolysis of end-of-life tyres and represents a sustainable alternative to virgin carbon black in rubber and plastics applications. The material plays an increasingly important role in the tyre industry's transition towards circular economy practices.
Pyrum operates its proprietary pyrolysis technology at its plant in Dillingen, Germany, where it processes end-of-life tyres to produce rCB, pyrolysis oil, and gas. The company has been actively expanding its technology licensing business and developing additional production capacity.
The Recovered Carbon Black Europe 2025 conference is expected to serve as a key platform for innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in the development of sustainable materials for the rubber and tyre sectors.
