HiQ to Join Automechanika Panel on Digital Booking for Garages.

HiQ Tyres & Autocare will take centre stage at Automechanika Birmingham 2025, as retail consultant Paul Burton joins a keynote panel to discuss the evolving role of digital platforms in automotive retail. The session will explore how independent garages can stay competitive through online booking and customer engagement tools.

Digital Transformation in the Workshop Sector

Scheduled for 4 June, the panel session titled “Digital acceleration: Transforming garage operations for maximum profitability” will focus on the growing importance of digital services for independent garages. Representing HiQ, Paul Burton will speak alongside representatives from BookMyGarage and Compare the Market.

As digital-first customer behaviour reshapes the aftermarket sector, the discussion will centre on how tools like online booking, digital marketing, and integrated customer communications are becoming essential for workshop operations. HiQ’s participation underlines its position as a retail network actively supporting garages in adapting to these changes.

Supporting Independent Garages Through Franchising

HiQ Tyres & Autocare, backed by Goodyear, operates a franchise model that offers local garage owners access to national branding, expert retail consultancy, and digital marketing tools. Burton, who advises HiQ franchises across the UK, will share practical insights from his work helping centres drive growth and customer engagement.

He notes that digital transformation is a core topic among garage operators and that events like Automechanika Birmingham offer valuable opportunities for shared learning. The panel, hosted by BookMyGarage, will take place at Hall 19, Stand Q110 on Wednesday, 4 June at 10:00.

Connecting Online Tools with Garage Profitability

BookMyGarage, a key HiQ partner, supports online booking functionality across the HiQ network. The panel aims to give attendees a clearer view of how platforms like this are improving workshop efficiency and profitability. With rising consumer expectations for digital convenience, the session will explore actionable steps for garage owners to adapt.

The event is part of the wider Automechanika Birmingham programme running from 3–5 June 2025 at the NEC.
