Vaculug has secured a position on Crown Commercial Service’s RM6353 Tyres, Glass and Telematics framework, Lot 2, covering the supply, fitting and management of tyres across central government and wider public-sector fleets. The three-year agreement, which can run to July 2028, will see the Grantham-based retreader deliver UK-manufactured products, data-driven management and its new ERV Electro+ tyre to councils, blue-light services and other public bodies.
The RM6353 deal sets out a compliant, pre-vetted route to buying tyres, glass and telematics. Lot 2 specifically lets public buyers:
CCS says the framework runs from 9 July 2025 to 8 July 2028, with a one-year extension option, and lists 12 suppliers under Lot 2.
Vaculug will supply only retread tyres made at its Grantham plant, cutting raw-material use and embedded CO₂. The portfolio includes the ERV Electro+ billed as the first retread developed for electric refuse-collection vehicles (eRCVs).

Now in its 75th year, Vaculug has expanded beyond waste-fleet staples. Last month the company reshaped its off-highway leadership to meet rising OTR demand, highlighting a strategy to support mixed municipal fleets.
