Five tyre businesses were confirmed among exhibitors at ScotPlant 2026, as Scotland’s plant and construction sectors gathered at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh. The event, held from Friday 24 to Saturday 25 April, brought together construction equipment suppliers, dealers and service providers serving off-highway operators.
The confirmed tyre exhibitors included Kirkby Tyres Ltd at 10th Avenue No 5, Nordic Tyres at Avenue C No 18, Redpath Tyres at Avenue A No 4, Tyreboss Ltd in the B1 Indoor Hall, and Tyrefair Ltd at 12th Avenue No 2.
Their presence reflected the importance of tyre supply, service and support across construction, plant, earthmoving and commercial vehicle operations. For operators, tyre choice remains closely linked to uptime, site safety, traction and whole-life running costs.
ScotPlant describes itself as Scotland’s largest construction equipment exhibition and said the 2026 event featured a record 215 exhibitors. The organisers said the show brought together the Scottish plant community to discover products, meet suppliers and discuss issues affecting the sector.
That matters for tyre suppliers because plant and construction customers often need specialist advice on mixed applications. A single fleet can include loaders, telehandlers, excavators, commercial vehicles and support equipment, all with different tyre demands.
For the tyre trade, ScotPlant offers a focused route into the construction and off-highway market. It also gives suppliers direct access to businesses where downtime, damage resistance and fit-for-purpose casing selection can influence daily productivity.
