Sailun is presenting a five-model winter and all-season portfolio for the 2026/27 European season, covering applications from year-round driving and mainstream Central European winters to severe Nordic snow and ice. The range combines products first presented during 2025 with Nordic-specific tyres, while its Alpine models enter the new season with additional third-party test credentials.
Sailun is taking a five-model winter and all-season portfolio into the 2026/27 European selling season, spanning markedly different climatic and vehicle requirements.
The line-up comprises the Atrezzo 4Seasons Ultra, Ice Blazer Alpine2, Ice Blazer Alpine EVO2, Ice Blazer Arctic2 and studdable Ice Blazer Spike. The Atrezzo 4Seasons Ultra, Alpine2 and Alpine EVO2 were presented during Sailun’s 2025 winter-product programme, while the Arctic2 and Spike have subsequently been highlighted for Nordic applications.
That makes the 2026/27 story an expansion and continuation of Sailun’s European winter offer rather than a single five-product launch.
The Atrezzo 4Seasons Ultra provides the year-round option for markets where motorists face a mixture of wet, dry and lighter winter conditions. Sailun lists the tyre in rim sizes from 13 to 21 inches and claims improvements in wet grip and aquaplaning resistance, alongside shorter braking distances, higher mileage and reduced rolling resistance.
Sailun’s published European size information shows the 3PMSF marking across the listed Atrezzo 4Seasons Ultra range.
For conventional Central European winter use, the Ice Blazer Alpine2 is positioned around wet braking, aquaplaning resistance and control on snow and ice.
A 205/55 R16 94H XL version of the Alpine2 was tested by TÜV SÜD across 12 disciplines against four competing European-market tyres and received the organisation’s seal of approval. The result relates to the tested specification and should not be interpreted as applying automatically to every available size.
The Ice Blazer Alpine EVO2 is Sailun’s UHP winter product for performance passenger cars and SUVs, with applications extending up to 22 inches.
According to Sailun, the tyre uses a revised tread, compound and construction compared with its predecessor. The manufacturer says the centre tread contains 30% more 3D sipes, intended to maintain grip on snow, slush and ice, while stepped shoulder blocks are designed to support traction and handling in deeper snow.
The model has received two separate third-party recognitions in different sizes.
AUTO BILD assessed the Alpine EVO2 in 245/45 R19 102W XL and awarded it “AUTO BILD Approved” recognition. TÜV SÜD separately assessed a 215/55 R17 98V XL version against three competing European-market tyres.
Published reporting says the TÜV SÜD assessment covered 12 disciplines, including wet- and dry-road performance, rolling resistance and rolling noise. As with the Alpine2 assessment, the result relates to the tested tyre specification rather than every fitment in the range.
The two programmes provide dealers with additional external reference points for the Alpine products ahead of the 2026/27 season without establishing blanket superiority across Sailun’s winter range or the wider market.
For more severe winter conditions, Sailun’s portfolio includes the studless Ice Blazer Arctic2 and the studdable Ice Blazer Spike.
The Arctic2 has been developed for Nordic winter conditions, while the Spike is intended for severe icy-road applications. Depending on specification, the Spike can accept up to 236 studs arranged in 18 rows.
Both tyres formed part of Sailun’s Polar Drive 2026 programme in Muonio, Finland, alongside the Alpine EVO2.
The manufacturer-organised event included driving on snow, slush, polished ice and wet pavement in Nordic winter conditions. Around 120 trade, media and industry guests took part.
Polar Drive was a Sailun demonstration programme rather than an independent comparative test, so its role is primarily to show how the company is positioning the products across different winter environments.
For distributors and dealers, the practical relevance is the breadth of the resulting portfolio. Sailun can now offer products intended to cover year-round applications, mainstream Central European winter use, performance-car and SUV fitments and Nordic studded and studless conditions within one range.
That wider application spread gives trade customers a clearer choice of Sailun products for different European winter markets, while the Alpine line enters the 2026/27 season with additional model- and size-specific third-party test and certification results.
