Radar Tyres has significantly expanded its Dimax Winter range ahead of the 2025/26 winter season, more than doubling the lineup from 41 to 85 SKUs since the range's launch in 2024. The expansion includes 32 new sizes now available to order, covering rim diameters from 14" to 21".
The Dimax Winter range, designed for passenger cars and SUVs including electrified vehicles, has quickly established itself in the market with recognition for its winter performance capabilities and mileage characteristics.
"We are very pleased with the balanced performance and strong reception Dimax Winter has received from customers and end users," says Olli Seppälä, Global Head of R&D at Omni United. "The tyre's excellent winter performance and mileage are qualities drivers truly value, so expanding the range was a natural next step."
The Dimax Winter has been developed by Omni United in collaboration with GFG Style, the design house led by automotive designers Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro. Extensive testing was conducted with UTAC at their laboratories and test tracks across multiple countries.
At the heart of the Dimax Winter's performance is the Inari Silica Compound, engineered to deliver wet performance, low rolling resistance, and durability in harsh winter conditions. The tread design aims to maximise grip on snow and slush whilst maintaining stability on dry and wet surfaces.
The range incorporates several distinctive features:
Aqueduct Grooves are ultra-smooth channels designed to evacuate water and slush from the tread, helping to reduce aquaplaning risk.
Connect Support Technology is a structural element embedded within the tread pattern that provides support to all tread blocks from shoulder to shoulder, intended to ensure tyre integrity and precise steering in extreme conditions.
Circle of Treadlife is a safety feature indicating remaining tread depth, allowing drivers to monitor tyre wear.
Smooth Velvet Sidewall features ultra-low protrusion designed to improve the tyre's aerodynamics and ease of cleaning.
Electric Vehicle Compatible - tyres carrying the EVC marking meet the specific requirements of EV vehicles, including load capacity, rolling resistance and noise specifications.
The expanded Dimax Winter range is available to order now through Radar Tyres' distribution network.
