Prometeon Tyre Group has started rolling out its new R02 PROWAY range for commercial fleets. The tyres target higher mileage and all-round performance, with internal testing indicating up to a 10 percent improvement in key KPIs versus the previous range. Gains include mileage, wet handling, and snow grip.
The R02 PROWAY follows its UK preview at Road Transport Expo last year. It is part of the Prometeon-branded line introduced in Istanbul last autumn.
Steve Tift, Managing Director of Prometeon Tyre Group UK and Eire, said the tyre moves the benchmark for operators.
“The R02 PROWAY represents a significant step forward in commercial vehicle tyre technology. Our testing shows it outperforms the previous generation in crucial areas such as wet braking and handling, while delivering the enhanced mileage that operators demand for optimising their total cost of ownership.”
Initial sizes include 315/60R22.5, 315/70R22.5, 315/80R22.5, and 295/80R22.5. The range targets regional and long-haul operations where uptime, mileage, and predictable handling are priorities.
All R02 PROWAY tyres use Prometeon’s latest casing technology. The casing is designed for excellent retreadability, helping fleets stretch total value over the full life of the tyre.
