Petlas is using its 50th anniversary year to introduce new tyres across passenger car, commercial vehicle and industrial segments while maintaining its export focus in Europe and other international markets. For distributors, retailers and fleets, the update points to a broader 2026 pipeline and a continued push for share in key replacement markets.

Petlas’s anniversary-year plan centres on widening coverage across three parts of the tyre market. The headline passenger car launch is Prestige Sport, a new ultra-high-performance summer tyre scheduled for the 2026 season. TyreNews recently reported that Prestige Sport targets performance cars and sport utility vehicles, with wet-grip credentials and sizes spanning 17 to 22 inches.

In practice, Petlas is building out a fuller offer across higher-value passenger car fitments, industrial applications and long-haul commercial vehicle use. That gives wholesalers and retailers more reasons to assess the brand by segment rather than as a narrow budget play.

A broader portfolio for three segments

Petlas has also added a non-marking solid forklift tyre range to its industrial line-up. Later in 2026, the company plans to launch new long-haul steer and drive axle patterns for commercial vehicles, with an emphasis on mileage, durability and operating efficiency. For fleets and truck tyre distributors, those are practical buying criteria tied to casing life, cost control and route suitability.

Sales and Marketing Director Okyanus Tuna said the launches form part of Petlas’s wider 50th-anniversary product strategy and are designed to strengthen the company’s position in passenger car, commercial vehicle and industrial segments. His remit has already widened across European sales and marketing, underlining how closely product planning and export growth are now linked inside the business.

This builds on a wider pattern seen across the sector in early 2026, with manufacturers using portfolio expansion to defend margins and sharpen regional relevance in Europe. For the tyre trade, Petlas’s 50th-year message is not just about heritage. It is about where the brand wants to compete next, and with which products.
