Okyanus Tuna to steer Petlas and Starmaxx sales across key European markets.

Petlas Tyre Corp. has announced a significant expansion of responsibilities for Okyanus Tuna, its Sales & Marketing Director, effective from 1 January 2025.

In addition to the territories he has overseen for many years, Tuna will now lead sales and marketing activities for both the Petlas and Starmaxx brands across an extensive European footprint. The expanded remit includes Italy, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

The restructured role forms part of Petlas' strategy to strengthen its market presence and support sustainable growth across these strategically important regions. In the newly added markets, Tuna will work in close collaboration with Özgür Bıyıklı, Regional Sales Manager, to enhance partnerships, drive value creation, and reinforce the company's commitment to long-term success.

Commenting on his expanded responsibilities, Tuna said: "I am grateful for the trust placed in me and for the opportunity to contribute to Petlas' continued growth across these important markets. I look forward to working with our teams and partners to build on our momentum and deliver strong results together."

The appointment reflects Petlas' ongoing investment in its European operations as the Turkish tyre manufacturer continues to build its presence in key Western European markets. The company's dual-brand strategy, encompassing both Petlas and Starmaxx products, positions it to serve diverse market segments across the region.
