Michelin has announced the appointment of Bénédicte de Bonnechose as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 June 2026. She will succeed Yves Chapot in the role.
De Bonnechose currently sits on Michelin's Executive Committee, where she oversees the European region alongside the Urban and Long-Distance Transportation business lines. She joined the French tyre manufacturer in April 2019 as Deputy Group CFO, bringing substantial financial and operational expertise to the position.
Her career spans more than 25 years with the Lafarge Group, where she advanced from financial management roles into senior operational leadership positions across the company's Cement, Aggregates and Concrete divisions. Between 2015 and 2018, she served as President of LafargeHolcim France and Belgium, demonstrating her capability in managing major regional operations.
De Bonnechose began her professional career with four years at Deloitte, where she specialised in auditing for the Industrial and Retail sectors.
The appointment represents continuity for Michelin, with de Bonnechose's existing knowledge of the group's operations and strategy positioning her well for the CFO role.
