Davanti Tyres has set out a new climate-focused target with environmental organisation Ecologi, aiming to fund more than 2,000 trees each month over the next year. The company says the programme will help it offset carbon emissions and support global reforestation projects. The move adds to wider sustainability activity across the UK tyre supply chain.
Davanti says its goal is to plant more than 2,000 trees per month for 12 months, positioning the work as part of a “climate-positive journey” for the brand. The company links the target to wider efforts to reduce its environmental impact, framing tree funding as a practical step to address emissions associated with business activity.
In Davanti’s briefing, Ecologi’s reforestation work is described as having a strong emphasis on mangroves, which are widely recognised for high carbon storage potential compared with many terrestrial ecosystems. Davanti says this focus is intended to maximise the climate benefit of the projects it funds.
The announcement lands as sustainability reporting becomes more visible in distribution as well as manufacturing. In April 2025, Tyre News reported that independent wholesaler Oak Tyres had offset 7.4 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) through its Ecologi partnership and supported the planting of more than 60,000 trees, timed around Earth Day - https://www.tyrenews.co.uk/news/oak-tyres-offsets-7-4-tonnes-of-co2e-with-ecologi-partnership
Oak Tyres has also indicated it will continue expanding its Ecologi-backed activity into 2026, referencing projects ranging from peatland protection to renewable energy. In a statement shared publicly, the business said: “Our journey towards becoming the world’s first climate-positive tyre wholesaler continues in 2026.”
For tyre brands and wholesalers, the rise in publicly trackable climate programmes reflects growing customer and procurement scrutiny, particularly where fleets and large accounts want clearer evidence of environmental action.
Separately, Tyre News has reported on Davanti’s broader commercial activity, including its updated product and market positioning at Autopromotec 2025. That backdrop matters because sustainability claims increasingly sit alongside product development, sourcing decisions and European growth plans.
Davanti Tyres is encouraging customers, partners, and industry peers to support the cause and spread the word. Those interested in following the brand's progress can visit the Davanti Tyres Ecologi Forest at ecologi.com/davantityres.
With sustainability rising rapidly up the agenda across the automotive and transport sectors, Davanti's partnership with Ecologi signals a clear intent to lead — not just in tyre technology, but in environmental responsibility too.
