At Autopromotec 2025 in Bologna, Davanti Tyres unveiled a series of new developments across its product portfolio — including a forthcoming rugged terrain tyre, expanded UHP offerings, and its first European-manufactured model.
Appearing in Hall 20, stand A6, CEO Peter Cross walked us through the expanded Terratoura and Protoura ranges, underlining the brand’s strategy to serve both specialist and mainstream mobility sectors. A full video recap, now live on YouTube, captures the key announcements.
On display were the Terratoura A/T and Terratoura M/T, Davanti’s existing all-terrain and mud-terrain options. These will be joined later in 2025 by the Terratoura R/T — a rugged terrain tyre designed to bridge on- and off-road performance for utility and 4x4 applications.
This segment expansion supports Davanti’s goal to offer a more complete range for fleets and private users in agriculture, construction, and rural mobility.
Davanti also presented its growing Protoura range:
▪ Protoura Race – A semi-slick, road-legal tyre already used as a control tyre in UK motorsport series including Mini Club Sports and Suzuki Swifts.
▪ Protoura Sport – The brand’s current ultra-high-performance (UHP) road tyre.
▪ Protoura Sport EVO – A new flagship UHP model set to launch in late 2025, covering 17- to 22-inch fitments.
The Protoura Sport EVO is especially notable as Davanti’s first tyre to be manufactured in Europe, signifying a major step in the company’s quality and logistics strategy.
As Peter Cross stated, the move to European production enhances quality control, shortens supply chains, and supports alignment with local market expectations — especially for EV-ready UHP tyres.
Davanti’s product rollouts at Autopromotec 2025 reflect broader shifts across the tyre industry: from global-to-local manufacturing transitions to increasing specialisation across terrain types and performance categories. The brand’s European-made UHP launch aligns with growing demand for regionally sourced, EV-compatible tyres. Meanwhile, the push into rugged terrain products highlights the need for versatile solutions in mixed-use environments. As smart sensors, sustainability measures, and vehicle electrification shape future requirements, tyre brands that scale with purpose like Davanti, will remain highly relevant.
