Tyre Specialist Vaculug Appoints Darren Clark to Drive Fleet Service in West.

Grantham-based retreader Vaculug has strengthened its operations leadership by appointing Darren Clark as Regional Operations Manager for the West, effective immediately. Based in Manchester, Clark will oversee service delivery across the North-West, Birmingham and Wales, supporting the company’s continued double-digit growth and expanding fleet customer base.

Clark’s Brief: Service Excellence Across the West

Vaculug says Clark’s remit covers on-site tyre management, technician deployment and rapid response for fleets spanning Greater Manchester, the Midlands and Wales. His arrival follows a series of senior appointments this year, including new heads of OTR and Scottish operations.

Deep Industry Experience

With more than two decades in commercial tyre service and fleet management, Clark is expected to reinforce Vaculug’s customer-centric approach. “These are truly exciting times at Vaculug. … Darren’s expertise ensures we remain agile in addressing challenges and fulfilling our commitments swiftly and effectively,” said Marcus Kirkness, National Operations Manager.

Part of a Wider Growth Strategy

The hire aligns with Vaculug’s broader expansion, which has seen the business secure B-Corp certification and elevate Mark Holloway to Head of Sustainability and Compliance earlier this year. https://www.tyrenews.co.uk/news/vaculug-appoints-mark-holloway-as-head-of-sustainability-and-compliance

According to the company, additional technician roles are planned for the West to maintain 24/7 cover.
