Vaculug has acquired Tyrefair Limited in Kinross, Scotland, adding local capability for fleets and public-sector customers north of the border. The company says the business has grown around 25% since the deal and targets further expansion over the next 12 months. The move aligns with Vaculug’s 2026 strategy, combining network growth with a focus on sustainability and service standards across the UK.
Tyrefair is a Kinross-based tyre specialist serving retail and fleet customers in central Scotland. Companies House lists the firm as TYREFAIR LIMITED (No. SC437297), confirming its Scottish registration and current status.
Vaculug says the integration brings its established service model to Scotland and supports customers seeking consistent national coverage. The company reports a ~25% uplift in business at Tyrefair since completion and plans to double activity within a year.
“This isn’t just about tyres. It’s about driving our 2026 strategy forward: expanding through acquisitions that help us serve our customers better, faster and greener.” Vaculug statement

Vaculug’s wider agenda includes policy engagement on retreads in public procurement; see our coverage of the company’s recent submission urging a mandate for retread tyres in UK public-sector fleets.
Recent management changes indicate continued investment in Scotland, with Vaculug naming new leads for OTR and Scottish operations to support regional growth and uptime-focused sectors.
