On 2 June 2025, Tyre News Media reported that Tyrenet and Tyre Assist activated TiDaeX integration to streamline dealer workflows.(tyrenews.co.uk) That milestone connected two of the UK’s largest commercial tyre networks to the open data‑exchange standard, paving the way for paperless job handling.
Today, software provider CAM takes the next step. The company has made its cloud‑based Fitter‑Force platform fully TiDaeX‑compliant, enabling any connected tyre dealer to receive and issue breakdown jobs directly on a fitter’s tablet, without phone calls or re‑keying.
“TiDaeX is the fulcrum from which integrated breakdown service providers can expand their business opportunities,” says Steve Daly, director of CAM and mobileIT@pps. “With Fitter‑Force, dealers can pull jobs from connected networks, complete them on‑site and have stock, billing and accounts updated automatically.”
The platform spans resource allocation, job launch, stock control, pricing, invoicing and accounting. Integration with e‑jobsheet creates a single view from work request to sign‑off.
An optional Van Stock module shows every casing, new or remoulded tyre carried on each vehicle enterprise‑wide, helping prevent stock‑outs and shrinkage in near real time.
By automating data flow, dealers cut manual keying and invoice disputes, freeing staff to focus on customer service rather than paperwork.
Fleet operators are already fitting smart sensors to predict tyre wear and route vehicles more efficiently. TiDaeX‑enabled platforms like Fitter‑Force provide the data backbone for those initiatives, turning sensor alerts into automatically dispatched, correctly priced breakdown jobs.
In practice, that means fewer wasted call‑outs, longer tyre life and less CO₂ from avoidable downtime—aligning with wider sustainability and automation goals across transport.
