Bridgestone’s Winter, All-Season and Summer Leaders Dominate Independent 2025 Tests.

Bridgestone has reinforced its position as a leader in tyre performance after securing 23 top-class results across 2025's European tyre tests, with flagship products earning podium finishes in winter, all-season and summer categories.

The Japanese manufacturer's success spans its entire range, with the Blizzak 6 winter tyre, Turanza All Season 6 and Potenza Sport each taking top honours from leading automotive publications across Europe.

Blizzak 6 Leads Winter Tyre Dominance

The standout performer was the Bridgestone Blizzak 6, which claimed first place in Auto Bild sportscars' 2025 Winter Tyre Test. Competing against 11 rivals, the flagship winter touring tyre earned an 'exemplary' rating with a grade of 1.3 from the German publication.

The Blizzak 6's impressive testing season continued with a 'GOOD' (2.2) rating in the prestigious ADAC Winter Tyre Test 2025, followed by third place out of 51 tyres tested in AUTO BILD's Winter Tyre Test 2025, where it achieved another 'Exemplary' (1.3) rating. The winter specialist then secured second place in sport auto's 2025 Winter Tyre Test with a score of 8.5 and a 'very good' overall rating.

These results contributed to Bridgestone being jointly named Auto Bild's winter tyre 'Manufacturer of the Year' for 2025 – recognition of the brand's consistent excellence in the winter segment.

All-Season Excellence Continues

The Turanza All Season 6 matched its winter stablemate's success by taking joint first place in Auto Bild's SUV All-Season 2025 Tyre Test, scoring an overall grade of 1.2 with an 'Exemplary' rating.

Bridgestone's premium touring all-season tyre also claimed second place and an 'EXEMPLARY' rating in AutoBild Allrad's latest SUV All-Season tyre test, whilst contributing to the manufacturer's second-place finish in Auto Bild's all-season category for 'Manufacturer of the Year' 2025.

Potenza Sport Tops Performance Category

Completing the hat-trick, the Potenza Sport claimed first place in EVO's 2025 Tyre Test. The flagship sports tyre delivered six table-topping performances among nine tyres tested by the renowned car performance magazine in association with blackcircles.com.

Portfolio Strength Delivers Consistent Results

Since their respective launches, the three tyres have amassed impressive records: 23 top-class results for the Potenza Sport, 16 for the Turanza All Season 6, and nine for the new Blizzak 6.

Stefano Sanchini, Vice President Consumer Replacement at Bridgestone EMEA, commented: "These results demonstrate the strength and consistency of our portfolio, with leading performances across winter, all-season and summer segments.

"At Bridgestone, we are deeply focused on engineering tyres that deliver true value to our users. Tyres bring life – they connect people, goods and societies – and we are committed to delivering high-quality products that excel in safety and performance, aligned with our mission of 'Serving Society with Superior Quality'."

The sweep of wins across all major tyre categories underlines Bridgestone's engineering capability and reinforces the brand's premium positioning in the European replacement market, where independent testing remains a crucial influence on consumer purchasing decisions.
