Triangle Tyre will use Steinexpo 2026 to support its expansion in Germany and the wider European off-the-road tyre market. Exhibiting with distribution partner Heuver, the manufacturer will present radial and giant OTR products for quarrying, mining and construction equipment at the live demonstration event in September.
The companies will occupy a 164-square-metre stand at the MHI basalt quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden.
Triangle’s display will include radial OTR tyres for wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks and rigid dump trucks. Products will cover L3/E3, L4/E4 and L5 applications, addressing several common operating conditions within quarry and extraction fleets.
The manufacturer will also present products from its giant OTR range. These will include sizes up to 49 inches.
A 49-inch tyre will be positioned at the entrance to the exhibition grounds. Its inclusion reflects Triangle’s increasing focus on larger machinery used in quarrying and mining.
Triangle previously expanded its portfolio with additional loader, dump truck and giant OTR fitments. The programme included products for higher payloads and more demanding operating environments.
Triangle’s joint appearance with Heuver highlights the role of local distribution in developing an OTR tyre business.
Heuver supplies new and used OTR tyres and wheels. Its services include fitting, casing collection and tyre trade-ins.
That infrastructure gives Triangle access to an established German customer base. It also supports operators requiring application guidance, replacement availability and on-site assistance.
Luca Mai, European OTR director at Triangle Tyre, described Germany as a strategic market for the manufacturer.
“Thanks to the partnership with Heuver, we can combine an increasingly comprehensive product portfolio with local technical support and customer proximity,” Mai said.
He added that Steinexpo would help Triangle present recent product additions and develop its position within the quarrying and mining sectors.
The approach follows a similar distribution-led model in Britain. Triangle recently worked with Vaculug to present its OTR range at Hillhead 2026.
Expanding into larger OTR sizes requires more than adding products to a catalogue.
Large quarry and mining tyres represent a substantial operating cost. Their performance can also affect machine availability, fuel use and site productivity.
Operators therefore need dependable stock, correct application advice and service capacity. These requirements become more important as tyre size and machine payload increase.
Triangle has also been developing monitoring technology alongside its physical tyre range. At Bauma 2025, the company presented OTR tyres with a real-time tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Steinexpo display will therefore test how effectively Triangle can connect its expanded portfolio with the distribution and technical support expected by European operators.
Steinexpo 2026 will run from 2 to 5 September at the MHI basalt quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany.
The live quarry setting allows manufacturers and suppliers to present equipment close to real operating conditions.
Organiser GEOPLAN said around 130 exhibitors had secured approximately 40,000 square metres of net exhibition space ahead of the twelfth edition. The event will open from 9am to 5pm each day.
For Triangle, the event offers access to quarry, aggregates and extraction businesses in one of Europe’s most important industrial markets. Its challenge will be turning greater product coverage into dependable long-term supply and support.
