Goodyear's motorcycle tyre brands, Dunlop and Avon, will jointly present their leading fitments for BMW motorcycles at BMW Motorrad Days 2025, taking place 4-6 July in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
Marking the 20th edition of BMW's flagship rider event, the show attracts thousands of enthusiasts for a mix of test rides, stunt shows, and manufacturer showcases. For Dunlop and Avon, it represents a high-profile platform to connect directly with BMW riders.
At the event, the two brands will share a tent showcasing their top BMW-compatible tyres. Centre-stage displays will include:
■ Dunlop Trailmax Raid fitted to a BMW R1300GS positioned as a versatile 50/50 on/off-road adventure tyre
.■ Avon Spirit ST mounted on a BMW F900R — aimed at sport touring riders.
Dunlop will also present a comprehensive portfolio including RoadSmart IV, SportSmart mk4, SportSmart TT, Mutant, Trailmax Meridian, Trailmax Mission and Trailmax Mixtour.
Avon will exhibit its 3D Supersport, Cobra Chrome and TrekRider models alongside the Spirit ST.
Since joining the Goodyear portfolio in 2022, Avon has increasingly co-exhibited with Dunlop at international motor shows including EICMA, the MCN London Motorcycle Show, and Paris's Salon du 2 Roues. Avon rebranded earlier this year with the statement "Made to be different," reinforcing its identity within the premium segment.
Dunlop recently secured original equipment status for the RoadSmart IV and SportSmart Mk3 on the BMW R1300R and R1300RS, underlining its OEM ties with the German manufacturer.
