Sailun Tyre Europe has agreed a new supply partnership with Minrath Gruppe, strengthening its presence in Germany’s Lower Rhine region. The deal will see Sailun provide its full tyre range to support Minrath’s replacement tyre and complete wheel business across a network of 14 dealership and service locations.
Minrath represents brands including Audi, BYD, Cupra, MG, Seat, Škoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. That gives Sailun access to a mixed vehicle parc covering electric, hybrid, petrol and diesel models.
The partnership will cover summer, winter and all-season tyres, with Minrath using Sailun’s Smart Performance range across its service operations. For tyre manufacturers, such retail and service partnerships remain important because customer choice is often shaped at the point of replacement, inspection or seasonal wheel change.
Sailun’s European activity has become more visible across several trade channels. Tyre News recently reported on Sailun’s work with Primex in Bulgaria, where the focus was on a more structured tyre-fitting and customer service model. Tyre News has also covered Sailun’s winter tyre testing in Finnish Lapland, where the brand presented its Alpine Evo2, Arctic 2 and Ice Blazer Spike products to trade and media guests.
Sailun says the agreement with Minrath will support customers driving electric, hybrid and combustion vehicles. That matters for dealers handling increasingly varied workshop demand, where tyre choice can differ by weight, torque delivery, range needs and seasonal use.
The companies have highlighted the Sailun 4Seasons Ultra within the partnership. The all-season tyre has received an “AutoBild Approved” rating and a “Good” result in AutoBild testing for size 225/40 R18, according to the announcement.
Borusiak Thomas, Managing Director of Autohaus Minrath GmbH & Co. KG, said Sailun’s Smart Performance concept and tyre demonstration had convinced the business. He said the value for money, proven quality and range available to customers would further strengthen Minrath’s regional position.
For Sailun, the Minrath deal reflects a continued push to build brand trust through established retail and service providers. The company’s wider European positioning has also included formal trade engagement, including its acceptance into the National Tyre Distributors Association as the first Chinese tyre manufacturer member.
Harry Wang, General Manager of Sailun Group Europe, said the company was proud that its tyre quality and brand philosophy had convinced Minrath’s professionals.
The partnership is not a large-scale manufacturing or OE announcement. Its trade relevance lies instead in distribution, dealer confidence and the replacement tyre channel. For Minrath, it adds a broader tyre offer across multiple vehicle brands. For Sailun, it gives the company another regional platform in one of Europe’s most important automotive markets.
