Prometeon has brought its UK truck tyre portfolio into tighter focus, consolidating around the Prometeon-branded Serie 02 range and highlighting the new R02 Proway for regional haulage. The move follows European and UK production that began in late 2024, supported by on-road demos and a broader commercial push during 2025, including larger UK show appearances and expanded local teams.
Serie 02 at the core. Prometeon is positioning the Serie 02 range for premium performance and total cost control, with the line designed to replace most legacy patterns as the rollout progresses. Initial UK displays and demos have centred on the Serie 02 platform.
R02 Proway family. Regional steer and drive patterns headline the line-up, with 3PMSF markings and a focus on mileage, wet grip and retreadability. Prometeon indicates internal testing shows up to a 10% gain in key KPIs versus the prior range.
Digital readiness. Serie 02 casings are set up with RFID for easier tyre tracking and maintenance planning, aligning with connected-fleet practices in the UK.
Prometeon began European and UK production of Prometeon-branded Serie 02 tyres in October 2024, anchored by investment at Izmit. UK availability followed with demos for customers.
Management changes and a refreshed commercial structure in 2025 set out to accelerate growth in priority regions, reflected in a stronger UK presence at trade events and team expansion.
Prometeon used Road Transport Expo (RTX) 2025 to showcase Serie 02 and the R02 Proway patterns to UK buyers, with six models highlighted and RFID-equipped fitments promoted for lifecycle tracking.
Further specifications for R02 Proway and Serie 02 are available via Prometeon’s UK media and product pages.
