Prinx Chengshan Thailand has again suspended production from 5 September 2025 after completing a 28-day test window that allowed limited operations to validate air-quality monitoring upgrades at its Chon Buri facility. Thai authorities will now review the results before determining next steps. The company says remedial work is complete and compliance remains the priority, with supply impacts mitigated through inventory and logistics planning.

What Changed on 5 September

In a stock exchange filing, the company stated: “From September 5, 2025 (00:00), production at the Production Base is temporarily suspended.” The notice adds that Prinx Chengshan will update investors once regulators allow a restart.

How We Got Here

Prinx Chengshan says improvement measures at the Chon Buri site are complete and that compliance with Thai regulations remains its priority. Earlier statements also indicated no product quality issues and described the earlier halt as administrative.

What Happens Next

Thai authorities will evaluate air-quality data and implementation of the improvements before authorising any resumption of regular production. The 28-day trial formally ended on 4 September; operations are paused pending the IEAT’s decision.
