THE TIRE COLOGNE 2026 will host a new format of the Global OTR Conference, designed to foreground the off-the-road tyre segment. The programme will emphasise innovation, sustainability and international knowledge sharing, with sessions on the TIRE Stage covering safety, resource efficiency and lifecycle management.

The event will run in Cologne from 9 to 11 June 2026, organised in cooperation with OTR specialist 102psi.

The new format aims to make OTR tyres a visible pillar of the 2026 trade fair. “The fact that this format of the Global OTR Conference will take place at THE TIRE COLOGNE in the future is a strong signal of the international relevance of our trade fair,” said Ingo Riedeberger, Director of THE TIRE COLOGNE. He added, “The conference creates a stage on which we can shape the future of the tyre industry together, with a passion for innovation and a commitment to sustainability.”

Koen Vandermeersch, Managing Director of 102psi, said the platform will examine current and future OTR challenges in depth. “The cooperation with THE TIRE COLOGNE offers a unique opportunity to raise the profile of this important segment in a very international environment.” [Direct quote.] Retreading Business

Why the OTR focus matters

OTR demand and product development have accelerated through 2024–2025, from new mining and construction fitments to supply-side consolidation. See, coverage of the inaugural Antwerp Global OTR Conference on 1–3 October 2025 underlined rising international engagement across dealers, fleets and technology providers.

Manufacturers continue to expand OTR ranges and capacity. Examples include Triangle Tyre’s H2 2025 OTR additions and BKT’s FY25 results highlighting OTR growth. Ownership changes have also reshaped the segment, illustrated by Yokohama Rubber’s acquisition of Goodyear’s OTR business.

Programme elements

Sessions on the TIRE Stage are set to cover innovation, resource efficiency, safety, and sustainability, with structured opportunities for networking and international knowledge exchange. Organisers indicate an emphasis on sustainable lifecycle management across repair, retread and recycling, aligning with wider European circularity goals discussed by industry bodies.

Opening hours for visitors in 2026 are listed as 10:00–18:00 Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10:00–16:00 Thursday.

Exhibitor hours differ by day.
