Six Nations Rugby has teamed up with BKT, a global leader in off-highway tyre manufacturing, in a landmark partnership set to kick off with the 2025 Guinness Men’s Six Nations on 31st January. The agreement positions BKT as the Official Tyre Partner of both the Guinness Men’s Six Nations and the Guinness Women’s Six Nations, strengthening ties between the world-renowned Championships and the specialist tyre brand.
BKT’s extensive portfolio includes more than 3,600 products designed for agriculture, construction, mining, and other off-highway applications. With a presence in 163 countries, BKT has built a reputation for innovation and community-focused initiatives, many of which extend into the sports world.
As part of the partnership, BKT and Six Nations Rugby will introduce the BKT Award, designed to spotlight emerging talent in international rugby. The award aims to inspire both fans and aspiring players by celebrating the next generation of rugby stars.
Lucia Salmaso, Managing Director of BKT Europe, explained:
“Rugby embodies BKT’s values as no other sport: it’s about teamwork, physicality, fair play, community and loyalty. We are deeply committed to making a meaningful contribution to rugby, ensuring the game continues to grow and thrive on a global scale.”
Tom Harrison, CEO of Six Nations Rugby, also commented on the collaboration:
“The Six Nations is rugby’s most loved annual competition. As such, it is hugely exciting to welcome BKT to our family of partners for 2025. As a major global business with vast experience in sport, we are looking forward to working with the BKT team over the years ahead, to bring this partnership to life.”
The partnership underlines BKT’s dedication to promoting global sports while connecting with a passionate rugby audience. BKT’s involvement goes beyond branding, focusing on the values and community spirit that make rugby unique.
