Triangle Tyre has retained its EcoVadis Gold rating for a second consecutive year, achieving an overall score of 85. The company announced the result on 22 September 2026.
Main Article
The latest score represents a four-point increase from Triangle’s first assessment in 2025, when it achieved 81 and received Gold, as previously reported by Tyre News Media.
EcoVadis assesses four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Gold recognises the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide across all industries during the preceding 12 months.
In its latest announcement, Triangle highlights intelligent vulcanisation, digital energy management and increased use of recycled and bio-based materials. It also says it is strengthening natural rubber traceability and incorporating environmental, social and governance assessments into supplier management.
For tyre distributors and procurement teams, the assessment offers a reference when reviewing a supplier’s sustainability management. The distinction is at company level: EcoVadis medals recognise management systems relative to other assessed businesses, rather than certifying individual tyres or their environmental performance. EcoVadis’ medal guidance explains the comparison and eligibility criteria.
