Kumho Tyre UK used its first appearance at Road Transport Expo (RTX) 2025 in Stoneleigh Park (24–26 June) to present a refreshed commercial-vehicle line-up and underline how new tread designs can trim fuel bills and extend casing life for British fleets.
Kumho displayed five patterns engineered for today’s mixed-duty trucks:
▪ XA31 (all position)
▪ XD31 (drive)
▪ XS10 (steer)
▪ MD41 (drive)
▪ MA12 (all position)
Visitors to Stand R37 welcomed the emphasis on lifetime cost control and appreciated Kumho’s readiness for multi-life use through retreading. Richard Lyons, Managing Director of Kumho Tyre UK, said the show “proved our message on lowering total cost of ownership truly resonates with fleet professionals”.
Rising diesel prices and tougher corporate-carbon targets are pushing UK operators towards tyres that roll easier and last longer. Multi-life casings such as Kumho’s XD31 and XA31 meet that need by combining low rolling resistance with retread-ready construction, an approach expected to gain ground as haulage firms seek quick, measurable CO₂ savings without capital expenditure.
