Tyre manufacturer Hankook has made several leadership changes within its European organisation. Hobum Song, the former Managing Director of Hankook Reifen Deutschland GmbH, has been appointed as Vice President Central & Eastern Europe. Song brings over 14 years of experience at Hankook, with roles in the UK, Netherlands, and the global headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.
Taking over Song’s former position in Germany is Soo Won Chang, now the Managing Director of Hankook Reifen Deutschland GmbH. Chang joined Hankook in 1999 and has gained extensive international experience, holding roles in Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia before focusing on Austria and Switzerland as Managing Director.
Meanwhile, the new Managing Director of Hankook Tire Austria GmbH is Suk Namkung, who will also oversee the Swiss market. Namkung, a seasoned sales and strategy professional, joined Hankook in 2008 and has held positions in the USA, South Korea, and Malaysia.
These appointments highlight Hankook’s focus on leveraging global expertise to support regional growth and operational efficiency in Europe.
