Hamaton/Tyresure Name Jonny Leeson to Oversee Marketing and Product.

Hamaton Ltd. and Tyresure Ltd. have appointed Jonny Leeson as Marketing Manager, a role spanning brand strategy, digital activity, product development and events. Working alongside Hamaton GmbH and Tyresure GmbH, Leeson will support growth in original equipment (OE) and aftermarket channels across the UK and Europe as demand for tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and connected diagnostics continues to rise.

A broader brief across brand and product

The companies say Leeson will coordinate brand positioning, digital marketing, product launches, exhibitions and editorial engagement for both OE and aftermarket audiences. Managing Director Martin Blakey said the appointment “aligns with our vision for the future and commitment to delivering exceptional products and value to our customers,” adding that proven experience in marketing and product development was a key factor.

Why it matters for TPMS adoption

TPMS is becoming central to compliance and uptime strategies in both passenger and heavy vehicle fleets. Recent Tyre News reporting has highlighted industry momentum, from lower-cost connected tools that widen workshop access to TPMS data to integrations that tie tyre analytics to trailer telematics. These shifts are expanding the addressable market for sensors, valves and diagnostics — core areas for Hamaton and Tyresure. Focus on OE and aftermarket growth

Hamaton and Tyresure operate across Europe with portfolios covering multi-protocol sensors, programming tools and tyre valves. In practice, Leeson’s remit will include positioning new or updated hardware and software against evolving workshop needs, as well as supporting distributors and service partners at exhibitions and technical events. “This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver business growth, while connecting with customers in new and innovative ways,” said Leeson.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jonny to our team,” said Martin Blakey, Managing Director. “His proven expertise in marketing strategy and product development aligns perfectly with our vision for the future and commitment to delivering exceptional products and value to our customers.”

UK MOT rules include checks on the TPMS malfunction indicator for vehicles first used from 1 January 2012, reinforcing the need for correctly functioning systems in the replacement market. Across the EU, heavy-duty regulation is also bringing trailers and trucks into scope, sustaining demand for sensors and diagnostic tools in fleet channels. These regulatory and operational drivers help explain why TPMS solutions remain a priority for workshops and fleet operators.
