Giti Tire launched the GT Radial ClimateActive across Europe in August 2024, aiming to give fleet managers and everyday motorists a single set of tyres that stays on the car all year. Covering 15- to 21-inch sizes and claiming improved wet stopping power, lower fuel use and certified winter capability, the newcomer expands GT Radial’s all-season footprint and takes direct aim at the high-volume compact and mid-size segments.
European drivers are increasingly moving to all-season rubber to avoid the hassle and cost of seasonal change-overs. By sizing the ClimateActive for more than 90 per cent of target passenger cars and SUVs, Giti Tire is positioning itself as a mainstream alternative to premium rivals.
A V-shaped pattern and staggered pitch sequence lower cabin noise and smooth out high-frequency vibrations on city streets and motorways.
With 40+ SKUs from 15- to 21-inch rim diameters, the ClimateActive covers high-volume models such as the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus, BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Initial shipments are already in European distribution channels, with broader roll-out planned through the second half of 2025.
For fleets and private owners alike, a tyre that remains safe, quiet and efficient across seasons reduces operating costs and downtime. ClimateActive’s mix of A-rated wet grip, 3PMSF winter approval and lower rolling resistance makes it a credible challenger in the fast-growing all-season category.
