Falken Adds Euroall Season AS220 Pro for High-Performance Cars

Falken Tyre Europe has introduced the Euroall Season AS220 Pro, an ultra-high-performance all-season tyre aimed at drivers of powerful cars. The range opens with 46 XL sizes from 17 to 21 inches, with V and W speed ratings. Falken says development focused on winter capability, wet-grip safety and high-speed stability. Availability starts with mainstream European fitments, including several EV-relevant sizes.

  • 46 XL sizes, 17–21 inches; 35–65 series; V and W speed ratings.
  • Asymmetric pattern with two full-circumference grooves for water evacuation.
  • Inner tread tuned for snow and slush; outer tread for wet and dry stability.
  • Step-down, offset inner grooves for snow traction and braking.
  • EV-relevant sizes included; many with rim-protection.
  • Indicative EU labels: rolling resistance B/D, wet grip B, noise B (by size).
  • 4D NANO design technology targets lower wear and longer service life.
  • Five-year warranty subject to residual tread depth.

Euroall Season AS220 Pro: Key Features and Positioning

Falken positions the Euroall Season AS220 Pro as an all-weather option for performance-oriented vehicles. The asymmetric pattern is designed for grip with a quiet ride. An inner running surface targets traction on snow and slush, while the outer tread focuses on wet and dry handling. Two wide circumferential grooves aid drainage to reduce aquaplaning risk.

Construction and Handling

Engineers optimised the casing contour to resist tread deformation from centrifugal forces at speed. The aim is a stable contact patch and precise steering and braking response at higher velocities. Step-down inner grooves, offset across the tread, are intended to bite and compress snow under load for traction during acceleration and braking.

Label Targets and Longevity

Initial EU label indications vary by size, with B or D for rolling resistance, B for wet grip and B for noise. Falken cites its 4D NANO design technology for reduced wear and longer life. Warranty support is offered for up to five years, dependent on remaining tread depth.

Sizes, Load and Applications

The launch line-up covers 46 XL fitments (series 35–65) across 17–21 inches with V (up to 240 km/h) and W (up to 270 km/h) indices. Eight of the EU’s top-ten replacement sizes and eight EV-focused sizes are included, many with rim-protection.

All-season tyres continue to gain share among fleets and private drivers in regions with milder winters. The AS220 Pro extends Falken’s UHP coverage for year-round use, providing an option where single-set, all-weather fitments are preferred. Related activity includes brand visibility and portfolio updates in Europe.
