Auto3iii has entered motorsport sponsorship for the first time, backing 47-year-old rookie Allan Wright in the 2025 Ginetta GT Academy. Wright sits second in the standings after consistent podiums, while Auto3iii uses the partnership to showcase its electronic vehicle health check (eVHC) platform in a demanding track environment across UK circuits this season.
Auto3iii branding will feature on Wright’s G56 GTA as he continues his strong debut run. The driver said: “The car has no ABS, no traction control, and hits speeds of around 130mph. It’s an experience like nothing else. From entering with no expectations, I’ve become fully immersed in racing and constantly think about how to shave seconds off my lap times.”
He added: “Motorsport is amazing, but what I’ve learned very quickly is that every penny counts, which is why we’re all so appreciative of Auto3iii’s support. Their technology is game-changing. Their platform brings total clarity to workshop diagnostics, which is something that really resonates with me.”
Auto3iii Director David Leighton commented: “Sponsoring Allan is about more than just branding – it’s about showing how we can bring clarity and confidence to any motoring environment, whether that’s a local garage or a professional race paddock. We’re proud to be on this journey with Allan and we continue to be blown away by his performances, which are all the more remarkable in his debut race season.”
Auto3iii eVHC combines mileage-based predictive maintenance, digital reporting and a gamified customer experience. The platform’s AI is trained on more than 250 million vehicle part images, with data signals drawn from over 9,000 workshops and around 100,000 checks each day.
Recent Tyre News reporting also shows Auto3iii eVHC rolling out at scale through service networks, including the Castrol Service programme across 270 UK centres, highlighting broader adoption of digital vehicle health checks in day-to-day workshop operations.
For workshop readers, Jet Wheel Tyre’s case study indicates how Auto3iii eVHC can translate to conversions and customer engagement, useful context as the platform steps into the motorsport spotlight.
Ginetta’s GT Academy is designed as an accessible route into GT racing. For 2025, the series introduced fixed car set-ups across GTA and Rookie classes to emphasise driver development, a move that underlines the championship’s training-ground role for newcomers like Wright.
