Alliance Tire Group is increasing its investment in the UK agricultural market, appointing new leadership and launching grassroots initiatives aimed at strengthening its relationship with local farmers. The move includes the appointment of a dedicated UK Country Manager, new brand ambassador roles, and community-focused sponsorships, reflecting the company’s strategy to offer more localised support and engagement.
Alliance has appointed Girish Kumar Patidar as the new Country Manager for the UK, following his successful tenure in Ireland. The company says the appointment is intended to support farmers more directly and drive market growth through a closer understanding of local challenges and needs.
Patidar said he looks forward to building relationships with UK farmers and supporting their operations with reliable, technology-driven tyre solutions.
To enhance on-the-ground visibility and engagement, Alliance has introduced a team of local brand ambassadors. Among them is farmer and online agricultural content creator Olly Harrison (@agricontract_ollyblogs), who will represent the brand and promote the Agri Star II range across events and digital platforms.
Two additional ambassadors will collaborate with tyre dealers to raise awareness of Alliance’s product range and provide real-world feedback from the field.
As part of its commitment to community support, Alliance is sponsoring several events, including the European Tractor Pulling Committee and this summer’s tractor pulling event in Great Eccleston. These events offer a platform to showcase the durability and performance of Alliance tyres under high-stress conditions.
Brand ambassador Olly Harrison will also attend the Great Eccleston event, engaging directly with attendees and demonstrating the value of the Agri Star II range.
A central product in Alliance’s UK push is the Agri Star II, which has now surpassed one million units sold globally. The tyre features Stratified Layer Technology (SLT), designed to provide consistent traction and tread durability throughout its lifecycle.
The milestone reinforces Alliance’s position in the agricultural tyre market and highlights the growing adoption of advanced tyre technologies among UK farmers.
