Advance Tyre has announced the successful production of its first passenger car radial (PCR) tyre at its Vietnam facility, marking a significant expansion of its manufacturing footprint in Southeast Asia.
This development signals the company’s entry into localised PCR production under the ADVANCE brand in Vietnam, aimed at serving both domestic and export markets. The new output builds on the brand’s existing portfolio, which includes truck and bus radials (TBR), off-the-road (OTR), and speciality tyres.
With global supply chains under pressure and growing demand for PCR tyres in the Asia-Pacific region, Vietnam is becoming an important base for tyre manufacturing. Advance’s investment in domestic PCR capacity positions it to better serve regional OEMs and aftermarket customers with reduced lead times and enhanced distribution control.
While details on production capacity or tyre specifications have not been disclosed, the company described the milestone as a “proud” achievement and acknowledged its local team and international partners.
Advance Tyre Europe continues to promote its growing capabilities across Europe, where the brand is expanding its PCR, TBR and OTR offering. By reinforcing its production capabilities in Asia, the company may be aiming to support future European demand with diversified supply routes.
