Vredestein, the premium tyre brand owned by Apollo Tyres, has launched a new competition in celebration of its partnership with the iconic 1000 Miglia classic car rally. The competition offers two VIP experiences, including return flights to Milan and a three-night stay at a four-star hotel.
The winners of the competition will be given exclusive access to the paddock on June 12, where they can get up close to all 405 of the priceless classic vehicles participating in the rally during the official pre-race technical check. This behind-the-scenes experience is truly unique and something that money can't buy. On the third day, the winners will be able to access the 1000 Miglia Village before enjoying exclusive trackside access to witness the exciting start of the rally.
This year's 1000 Miglia classic car rally, which is known as "the most beautiful race in the world", will take place over five days and cover over 1000 miles. The rally will support and celebrate the nomination of Brescia and Bergamo as the Italian Capitals of Culture for 2023. The race will see the classic cars travel from Brescia to Rome and back.
Vredestein has been involved with the 1000 Miglia since 2017 when it became the event's first official tyre partner. This year, the official Vredestein team will comprise four classic cars, including a 1955 Porsche 356 1500 Speedster, a 1955 Salmson 2300 Sport, a 1954 Fiat 1100/103 TV Coupé Pininfarina, and a 1954 Fiat 1100/103 TV Berlina Mille Miglia Original.
One Vredestein-backed team will also participate in the 1000 Miglia Green, a regularity race for alternative fuel vehicles that follows the same route as the classic 1000 Miglia but with electric cars.
Vredestein's premium tyre range includes the Sprint Classic, Sprint+, Snow Classic, Grip Classic, and Transport Classic. These tyres have been created specifically for classic and vintage cars, combining traditional styling with modern performance characteristics to optimise safety, comfort, and driver satisfaction.
