The PDC World Darts Championship is back for another exciting year, and Toyo Tires is proud to be a part of the action. From December 15 to January 3, the best darts players in the world will converge on the Alexandra Palace in London to compete for a £2.5 million prize pool.

Defending champion Peter Wright will be looking to hold onto his title, but he'll have to fend off tough competition from the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price, who are both eager to claim the £500k first prize.

This year's tournament is expected to be the biggest and best yet, with over 85,000 fans in attendance and millions more tuning in on Sky Sports and across Europe. It's no wonder the PDC World Darts Championship is known as the biggest Christmas party in town and the "hottest ticket in town."

Celebrities are also getting in on the action, with pop superstar Lewis Capaldi and YouTuber Jaackmaate among those who have already been spotted at the event.

In addition to sponsoring the tournament, Toyo Tires will also have a presence at the Alexandra Palace throughout the event. Players will wear the Toyo Tires logo on their clothing, and the company will have strategic brand placement throughout the PDC season. Toyo Tires will also be on hand to keep fans entertained between darts sessions with a special "Beat The Clock" game, where players must stop the timer on exactly 180.

Toyo Tires and the PDC have also delivered a range of digital activations for major tournaments that have been a hit with fans. In 2022, the estimated global viewership for PDC events featuring Toyo Tires sponsorship is a staggering 40 million, with an estimated 7.3 million viewers in the UK alone. Over 500,000 fans attend PDC events worldwide.

With Toyo Tires set to continue its partnership with the PDC in 2023, there's even more to look forward to in the world of darts. In the meantime, be sure to tune in to the PDC World Darts Championship to find out who will be crowned the first World Champion of 2023 on January 3.

And don't forget to visit Toyo Tires' Facebook and Instagram channels for the chance to win signed dartboards and Premier League tickets as part of the company's 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway.
