Prometeon Tyre Group's 2022 Sustainability Report reinforces the company's unwavering dedication to green policies across its global operations. The report sets ambitious targets to reduce environmental impact by 2030, emphasizing sustainability as a fundamental aspect of the company's identity.

The company's sustainability efforts have been recognized by Morningstar Sustainalytics, an ESG rating agency, for two consecutive years. Prometeon achieved an impressive ESG Risk Rating score of 12.1 out of 100, indicating its low risk exposure and exemplary management practices. The company improved its ranking within the industry and demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

To bolster sustainability governance, Prometeon strengthened its Sustainability Committees across regions with production facilities. The aim is to establish a unified vision encompassing environmental, social, and governance aspects, promoting robust corporate governance standards. The company has set long-term objectives for 2030, aiming to reduce waste, water consumption, energy demand, and CO2 emissions.

Recognizing the global challenges of climate change, Prometeon is actively involved in combating it. The company commits resources to research and development of innovative materials and collaborates with external bodies for ESG assessments, further enhancing its corporate social responsibility.

In alignment with the United Nations Global Compact and the 2030 Agenda, Prometeon has set specific environmental reduction targets for 2030. Investments in innovative processes, such as wastewater treatment plants, have already led to significant reductions in water, energy, CO2 emissions, and solvent consumption.

The company implemented the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in its 2022 Social Corporate Sustainability Report. The GRI framework enables Prometeon to identify and address environmental, social, and economic impacts generated by its activities, considering the interests of stakeholders.

Prometeon aims to involve and guide its suppliers in sustainability efforts through the Supplier Award Programme. This initiative acknowledges and rewards top-rate suppliers, promoting innovation and sustainable projects, while adding value to the business and stakeholders.
