The day was packed with updates from various departments including Marketing, Fleet, Brand, and Strategy. These presentations detailed HiQ’s evolving business models and outlined a comprehensive growth strategy aimed at enhancing the company’s retail operations.

As the conference transitioned into the evening, the focus shifted to the HiQ Pride Awards Ceremony held at The Belfry Hotel & Resort. The event, which supported Breast Cancer Now — HiQ’s long-term charity partner — embraced a pink tie theme and successfully raised over £4,000 for breast cancer research and treatment developments. This contribution edges HiQ closer to their ambitious £150,000 fundraising target for the charity.

The awards ceremony recognised the exceptional performance of 11 HiQ franchises across 12 categories, celebrating areas such as Customer Service, eCommerce, and partnership with Goodyear and Fleet. Noteworthy among the recipients was HiQ Plymouth, which clinched the prestigious 'HiQ Centre of the Year 2024' and 'HiQ Customer Service Award 2024'.

Craig Sprigmore, Goodyear's Retail Director for the UK and Ireland, reflected on the significance of the gathering. "It was fantastic to see so many colleagues and business partners join us in Birmingham for HiQ’s National Conference. This event was not just a celebration of past successes but also a crucial platform for us to focus on the future, enhancing both our online and in-store customer experiences," he said.

The conference underscored HiQ's commitment to expansion and innovation. Since their last meeting in October 2022, the network has welcomed 14 new franchisees and continued to grow into 2024 with the addition of 17 physical centres and several new business partnerships. This growth is part of HiQ’s strategy to provide superior service and embrace new business opportunities.

The 'futurebound' theme of the conference aptly reflects the forward-looking ethos of HiQ Tyres & Autocare as they continue to strive for excellence in every aspect of their business.
